Okay, cold hard truth. This is "Chinese production, Chinese quality and Chinese support". I'm on my third in less than that many weeks. The first one worked, tested it for the first time, removed it, picked it up the next day. The next day the pilot arc did not strike at all and could not be used for cutting. A replacement was ordered, delayed and arrived from DOA. Inside it clicked. Relay? solenoid? Who knows. I'm not an electronics guru. I have notified Revain who said a second replacement could not be supplied as it has been replaced once and I would need to contact the supplier/seller. I contacted them, they asked me to disassemble the car and send photos. After looking at the photos, they asked me to take a pair of tweezers or pliers and squeeze a couple of tabs while the machine was on to see if the arc would start. Ha! I don't do this, I see live electricity and large capacitors, not by accident. So. They advised me to return the item. Ready. The third one ordered seems to be working fine, however I am skeptical about its longevity and longevity. As another review says, you get what you pay for. Consider a used brand, if budget is an issue we'll see if this new device is Strike 3 compliant.
