Review on πŸ–¨οΈ Enhanced 3D Filament for YOYI Additive Manufacturing Products by Dave Rasic

Another good spool.

While 3D Solutech is my favorite filament brand, YOYI follows them. I've never had any problems with their threads. I've never had a damaged spool, tangled thread, or old or "wet" thread. This role is no different. Recently, my brother-in-law used his 3D modeling skills to design and 3D print a new console plate and monitor mount for his 1968 Camaro. ABS would be the best material, but none of my printers are fully enclosed, and I've seen too many reports of ABS giving off toxic fumes when 3D printed, which is why I don't print from ABS. PETG seems to be the next best yarn for this application, which is why I got this spool. I've used most spool pressure plates and mounts and haven't had any issues. I printed the decal on my Artillery Sidewinder X1 with stock 0.4mm nozzle and the mount on my JGAurora A5S with 1mm nozzle. No clogs, no tangles, no water bubbles, no adhesion issues. Both prints turned out great. For reference, I printed prints at a nozzle temperature of 230-240 degrees Celsius and a layer temperature of 80-90 degrees Celsius. My Sidewinder X1 is crisp and dense so its base print speed is around 70mm/s, while on my JGAurora A5S I print very thick layers so its base print speed is around 25mm/s due to the much larger nozzle. As long as YOYI continues to provide quality threads, I will come back when I need more!
