Boat tires need to be inflated to 50 pounds like mine. This machine works great and is a lot easier than lugging around a smaller compressor and then trying to turn it on. After storage, my boat tires weighed down to 42 pounds and I connected them to a battery. It took about 5 minutes to get to 50, about 45 seconds per pound. But it's worth the time and less hassle than using a compressor. While he was filling up the tires I had other things to do to get the boat ready. It filled 2 tires with 42-50 pounds and the battery life still showed full. I also inflated my daughter's car tires. The transition from 33 to 35 was very quick, probably 25 seconds per pound. It is very comfortable!
