Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly! I was able to disable MyKey when I only had 1 key for my F-150!

I have a 2011 Ford F-150 that I bought used. It comes with only 1 key and has been programmed with the MyKey feature which can limit a number of truck functions. I bought this key, cut it out at Home Depot (no programming required, just cut out the shape), then used FORScan (free) and was able to program it as a new admin key! Instructions on how to program a new key using FORScan can be found here: http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=839 This programming only allows unlocking and starting the vehicle with the key but the FOB buttons do not work. It works initially. To program the FOB keys, get into the car and close all the doors. Then you open the driver's door and leave it open. Press the unlock button on the driver's door if it is open. Now take a new key and insert it into the ignition switch. Turn the key on and off quickly 8 times (do not start the car). On the 8th time, leave the key on and you'll hear all the door locks work. Then, within 10 seconds, with the key in the ignition and in the on position, press the lock button on the key fob. The door locks should work again, which means they have been successfully programmed. You can turn the key to the off position and it should be fully functional, including remote start! Another great thing about this is that after programming my new key, I was able to go into the dashboard settings and disable MyKey on my original key. too much of!
