I bought this to mount on a glass door. This works very well for privacy, but requires a little patience. You need to cut the film, clean the area you're applying it to, and then separate the clear layer from the film (yes, believe it or not, there are two layers!). It took me a full minute to peel off and I thought bending the film would damage it, but it didn't. You should apply soapy water, but not too much. Applying enough water to moisturize the area makes the foil easy to apply and peel off, allowing you to apply in the right position. You need to use the included tool to flatten it and remove bubbles and water. Although it may take some time to dry. Now I can leave my door open and watch people approach my house and admire their reflection or see their curious faces wondering if someone is at the door. If your house has a light on, people can see it. Overall I am satisfied with this product.
