I was lucky enough to purchase this jacket for $54.34! I went through all the colors and noticed that the size X-Large gray jacket was priced differently. I would encourage you to experiment with different colors and sizes if you are lucky. Jackets in other sizes and colors are $121. The size chart says to buy a large size. I thought for a long time and then decided that I should try it for such a price. X-Large suits me. A big one would be too small, especially in the stomach area. He has a slim appearance. I didn't have the zipper issue that many other reviews mention. It's plastic and I take good care of it. The loops in the lining are also mentioned for breaking. I find the overall quality of the jacket a bit cheap. You have to slowly and carefully remove the liner with all the hinges and fasteners otherwise I see they can easily break or tear. I am more than happy with the jacket for what I paid for it. This is not a jacket that will last if not treated with care. If you like the quality, you should move on to something else. If you value value and won't be driving for an extended period of time, even at $121, it's worth considering. The armor inside is foam rubber and also of poor quality. It has a CME rating but it seems cheap to me. Other plus points in addition to the price are the removable lining and the look of the jacket. I drove to work unlined all summer and even at around 100 degrees the mesh still lets a lot of air through. Other reviewers suggested removing the armor on the back to allow more air, but I left mine in place. As long as I'm moving, I feel surprisingly comfortable. The sleeves can be buttoned up over the gloves, but I usually leave them open for ventilation. Obviously at $54.34 this was a great deal for me. The question is, is it worth $121.00? I think that's when you can't or don't want to afford more money for a jacket. If you are rough, travel a lot, or have money but something of higher value. However, this may be the best value for money.
