They're thin but VERY strong and the 3 gallon size is perfect for large bins. It's very easy to pinch the pouch (Photo 1), grab opposite sides (Photo 2), and tie the ends together (Photo 3). Handles are not required. I love the fact that they are truly biodegradable.
