This accurate kitchen scale would make a great addition to any kitchen. I tested the scale with water that has a specific volumetric weight. Libra has always been what it should be. You can use a variety of units of measurement, including fluid ounces, milliliters, grams, and pounds/ounces. The legs of the scale are the most important readings you see, so it's important that the legs are on a hard, flat surface. The surface of the scale is smooth and easy to wipe, which is particularly important when used in the kitchen. The tare function allows you to measure foods like chicken that you may not want to place directly on the scale surface. Instead, the tare can be entered after the slab has been loaded onto the scale and the net weight can then be easily determined. The micro-USB charging port on the side wall provides a direct connection to the mains. Alternatively, batteries can be used. I'm happy with this device and plan to use it permanently in the kitchen (instead of my old letter scale I used haha).
