I would like to start by saying that this product fits me perfectly. I have other voltage converters but if I'm just going to a quick trip to another country I take it with me to charge my phone, tablet and the like. The thing is weak. I actually use this as part of my thoughts as I know I can charge my devices with 220V but I love that it has a fuse and other safety features. As mentioned in other reviews, I'm a little annoyed with the fan that goes into this particular converter (I knew about the fan when I bought it). The smaller the fan, the louder the noise. So there are some noises that may bother others. Personally, I don't think that with such a low maximum converter power, a fan is necessary as I'm sure it can stay cool without it. My big ones are just bricks with no fans and they work fine. I placed the transducer in another room and couldn't hear it so it didn't bother me but I can see some getting annoyed at hearing the noise themselves. I can just hack the case and either remove the fan or turn off the power. Depends on the. Other than that I'm happy with the product and will continue to use it on my travels for my odds and ends that mostly use USB ports anyway.
