Review on Citrus Magic Solid Absorber 20 Ounce by Wayne Drakh

I bought this because all the reviews praised its ability to absorb smoke smell. Absolute nonsense. It works no better than the more toxic phthalate-based "freshener", ie it adds fragrance to (badly) mask more unpleasant smells, defeating its intended purpose. Dealing with the above pollutant and it had no effect. It was placed on a raised platform in the center of the 10 x 12 room to provide better airflow to neutralize the smoke coming from below and it did nothing even with the air purifier running at the same time. .Total waste of money. For those of you trying to avoid the smell of smoke (and the increased risk of cancer associated with smoking), it's best not to live with/next to smokers, no matter how difficult that may be. the product does NOT help to make the situation more bearable.
