Okay, let me just say that like many of us woodworkers, I thought a couple of cheap plastic squares would do the trick to square my boards for cutting. I decided to up my game and recently bought some really good squares from a company called PEC Tools. I did the same squares test with these squares as I did with the PEC combination squares. You know, when you draw a line on a perfectly straight board, you flip the square to draw a line with the opposite side of the square. Guess what? Absolutely no deviations in the line, no dripping! These two Swanson squares were just as true as the much more expensive PEC squares. Highly recommended.
