My Kia Soul's oil filter was so tight I thought I would have to use drastic measures to remove it. It took a lot of effort to solve it myself with this tool, but it worked, no slip, no problem. I borrowed an inferior version of this tool from a neighbor who kept slipping. This tool is well made, includes a 1/2" to 3/8" adapter, and its handles are clearly designed to bite into the filter without slipping. I may never need this key again, but it was worth every penny. My experience tells me that this is an amazing tool and I doubt anyone will have a situation where this tool doesn't work. Two thumbs up!
