If these harnesses were shorter I would recommend them, but these harnesses are over 6 feet long - too long for most uses. - and they cannot be made shorter. Most harnesses come in 24", 36", and 48" lengths, which are good enough for smaller jobs, but they can also be chained together to form longer harnesses. Flat bungee cords with similar metal hooks are the best attachments, as metal hooks are stronger than plastic hooks which can break under stress.But they are too long to be useful.When they are sold in standard lengths I buy a dozen of these.
