So I installed it on my 2005 Avalanche. Installation was easy. There were absolutely no installation instructions in the package, but there was a picture with a wiring diagram in the description. That being said, it's pretty common sense. I need this because the backup lights on my truck weren't bright enough. These worked great. Very bright. I connected the positive lead to my spare lead at the trailer connector and grounded the black lead to the chassis. I wired it this way because I didn't want to flip the switch every time I backed up. I prefer that they turn on and off automatically.
