Great little Gerber knife! Since I was in the Boy Scouts over 15 years ago, I have used a variety of jackknives, machetes, axes and Gerber multi-tools. The clamp is solid and the blade appears to be of good quality. I ended up spray painting the handle to make it a little more visible for safety reasons. I attached it to my lifejacket upside down at the attachment point. The grip is excellent and the knife never feels like it's going to fall out.
