Review on πŸ•° Kids Wake Up Alarm Clock with Sleep Training, Children's Light-Up Clock, Sleep Sound Machine by Chris Hamim

Revainrating 3 out of 5

In general, staying in bed is ideal for babies.

This watch was purchased for our 27 month old boy and has been using it for 6 weeks. After 2 days of practice, he understood and stays in bed (even if he wakes up an hour before the "sun"), he is very happy when the sun rises, "Bye moon!" The unit, numbers, colors, sun and moon are visually appealing but I wish they had a dimmer to reduce the brightness. He is dozing. So every day we would have to change the settings so that he could sleep in the moonlight because he refused to sleep when the sun was shining. We switch off and put the clock in the closet to sleep. Thankfully, the settings and time are saved when you turn the device back on (or off). It would be nice to have two sun and moon settings for sleeping. (Edit below: Issue fixed. Changed from 4 to 5 stars as the other issue isn't really related to the clock bug) Another downside makes him realize he might get up to go to the bathroom when the moon is out. Mostly he keeps them, but it can be the cause of some accidents every week. Overall we love this watch and recommend that kids know when it's okay to wake up in the morning. *** Edit to add: For sleeping I figured if you press and hold the sun button under the clock the image of the sun will disappear and only the time will remain! πŸ‘πŸ»**** a year later Edit July 18, 2021 My 3.5 year old still uses and loves the watch. He wanted to take it with him when he traveled. Even on vacation, he didn't get up for a day until the moon had disappeared. He always got up early, getting up in the moonlight in the morning in the bathroom, going back to bed and looking at the clock. He's still worried, the moon is out! More than a year in use and thank you for buying it.
