Pros: These dividers look so much better than the original ones I had in my house. They wrap around the bulb more tightly and have a lip at the top so you don't have to look into the fixture from behind a baffle, giving an overall nicer look, especially if you're using a smaller bulb like the BR30. The transition from the old yellowed rings and wide-open partitions to these really refreshes the look of the room. The Bad: As mentioned, the rings are plastic, so over time they will yellow and need to be replaced. Also, some of the foam pieces that touched the ceiling were stretched and deformed, which I believe happened when they were placed in the packaging (see last picture). But the styrofoam pieces above the ring aren't really needed for anything and where they weren't in shape I just threw them away and without them it's all good. Also, one of the baffles was out of shape, which I didn't realize until looking at the photo I took for this review (last photo, top left, edge beveled), but it won't be noticeable once installed a lamp and it has a lightbulb in it. I think these small issues just indicate that they need better quality assurance and/or packaging to keep the product in good condition. An installation tip: Use needle nose pliers to manipulate the springs, both when removing old baffles and installing them. It will definitely save your fingers. In general I am very happy with them.
