Great price but bad fit for par 40

I have replaced some yellowed baffles I had. 5 fits easily. 2 no. The nature of the hull was such that it was not adjustable in depth. The baffles are narrower than what I had before. So I couldn't screw the bulb back in. I ended up cutting off part of the narrower part of the baffle to put the bulb back in. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. I don't know how long they will last. I got them 4-5 hours ago and just finished installing 7.

Just what I needed when I needed it.

I accidentally bought a contractor pack of can lamps in HD with no bezels. I installed them and then realized what I did. I went to the store to buy them and found that the dividers cost the same as a whole pack of contractors. Before I broke down and bought them, I checked Amazon. The price was great and the quality was way better than what I would have bought in HD as they are metal and HD only had plastic. I was very happy with the purchase.

an inexpensive upgrade to yellowed trim rings.

They made a notable difference to the fixtures in our ceiling. The place really looks like new again. One thing I did come across is that the top is about an inch smaller than the originals. The first bulb I tried to put back in didn't reach the socket. However, there are wing nuts on the cans that you can use to move the chuck, so I lowered them all a bit and it worked great! I had one decorative ring that was a bit worn but I hope I don't have to use all 24 that I bought.

Looks good, nice upgrade from the rings that come with cheap tins

I have replaced the BR30 bulbs in one of our rooms with LED ceiling lights with a built in trim ring. When I replaced them with Hue White Ambiance BR30s, I couldn't find the rings that were removed, so I bought them to replace (they were actually cheaper than just rings at the time). I'm very happy with the results - they were easy to install by hooking into the holes at the very top of the can, hold in place well and look better than the standard ring that came with the cheap cans thatโ€ฆ

BRIGHT WHITE CLEAN - Electric

We had to patch up some cracks. Which resulted in the ceilings being painted. And suddenly the old tin cans became so yellowed! Nothing like the domino effect! Well we replaced them with these and they are amazing! The hubs said they were easy to install. We never thought we needed it until we drew it. I'm telling you, our ceilings are much brighter and more reflective now - we wish we had done that years ago. The only good thing that has come out of the Covid confinement is all the homeโ€ฆ

Divider Metal (I don't know, steel, aluminum or both), the ring is definitely plastic - even says it on the side of the box. Foam is cheap open cell stuff. Easily deformable, therefore often does not fit perfectly in the ring. As long as you get it close, rotating the ring back and forth a bit will usually slide it into place (you may need to pull the baffle down a bit to relieve the pressure on the ring). Just two springs to keep it in place. and they were a bit long for my mounts so I had toโ€ฆ

A good optical effect when replacing an age-yellowed paintwork.

Bright white, easy to install. I used 5 of these to update my kitchen. Old paint has yellowed over time, giving the kitchen a dated look. It was very easy to replace the old finishes and things took on a distinct yellowed look that goes well with the white ceilings and as far as they are noticeable (not as much as the yellowed ones) gave off quite a distinctive look. and clean appearance. Installation is simple: remove the bulb for easy access to the hangars. the same for the other side. Repeat

Great Looking Recessed

Pros: These dividers look so much better than the original ones I had in my house. They wrap around the bulb more tightly and have a lip at the top so you don't have to look into the fixture from behind a baffle, giving an overall nicer look, especially if you're using a smaller bulb like the BR30. The transition from the old yellowed rings and wide-open partitions to these really refreshes the look of the room. The Bad: As mentioned, the rings are plastic, so over time they will yellow andโ€ฆ
