You may be good at skiing or snowboarding, but definitely not good at figure skating. If you're just learning to skate they might be fine, but for those trying to do jumps or spins and fast sport moves, they're not for you. The shorts are very long and reach mid-thigh almost to the knee, so I can say that they will be very annoying when you try them on. They also just felt like there was some kind of foam stuck in there, not gel or anything that really absorbs the skaters' hard falls. I would look elsewhere if you need something for figure skating.
