My brother and I own a local roofing company and spend all day on rooftops which can be a hazard to our electronics, to say the least. I've had a few phones fall off rooftops and one was hidden under a bag of clapboards, so not only do we insure our Galaxys, we also have thicker cases to protect them from hazards that construction sites might pose. Problem with that. We use aviators to look under the clapboards and try to find and fix roof leaks. And in doing so, we encounter an issue where our flir one camera is not connected by our rugged, life-resistant housing. To solve this problem, you need to use an extension cord or a short extension cord to extend the connector from the phone's body. Unfortunately, the pitch of this extension is not long enough to reach our phone's connector through the phone's body. Just a few millimeters less.
