Good choice but you may need a quick fix
I bought 2 of these. 1. worked perfectly. Nothing to program. Insert batteries and you're done. The second time I put the batteries in and got nothing. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that one of the coils on the battery's positive terminal was flat and not touching the battery. I used a flat head screwdriver to bend it in place and it has worked flawlessly ever since.
