I have a set of Spanish handcrafted wooden handled chisels that hang on the wall and I only take them out for projects that require my pinky in the air. I also bought a cheap set a while back and was amazed that the edges weren't even sharpened at 90 degrees to the sides. Look, I know we all need a set of chisels because some jobs require it, but a certain standard has to be met; Well, they do more than support it. Not only are they perfectly beveled at right angles to the sides, but they are also razor sharp. Since it is chrome vanadium steel, they also retain their advantages. They're almost scary sharp right out of the box. I also love that they have a metal stopper on the handle meaning they can use whatever hammer you have on hand to get the job done. So all in all a really good value and a nice addition to your arsenal.
