Not needed unless your original gasket is broken
Don't waste your money on this gasket unless you know for sure your old gasket is damaged. The factory seal is really strong and will likely last the life of the car. I recently dropped a pan on 3 different 4R70Ws that were between 15 and 20 years old and each pad was perfectly reusable. This Fel-Pro seal has nothing to do with the original seal. Also, the screw holes were too small so you have to take the time to open more of them. Conclusion: save money, buy only when you really need it.
