I wasn't sure, but I'm glad I found out

About the "General Tools" tool, I wasn't sure at first. It sounded like a cheap fake. But it went up to 1000 degrees, which was key for me. It turns out this is a well-made tool from a New York company, not China. They even go so far as to include a genuine Eveready battery in the box, not just a cheap nameless battery that expires after 90 days. All in all a well working, easy to use and fast thermometer that I highly recommend to pizza oven owners!
