Upside down correction and other tips

So I started my lighting adventure. Some say it mounts straight, others say it mounts upside down, etc. These are tips I learned while installing them on my 2019 Nissan. Even if you haven't tried the installation yet, the advice will seem like nonsense. So if you're having trouble getting it to work, go back and read this and you'll understand what I'm talking about. Note. The plug has two pairs of tiny holes, don't put it in the wrong one. Your pins can be taller than your plugs for this to happen. You may need to gently push down on the pins to align them properly. Use a flathead screwdriver and gently push. The black round lamp body can be turned upside down. You won't know until you plug it in. To test this you can take the black round case out of the clear plastic bracket, notice how it comes together and plug it in without the clear plastic bracket. If it is upside down, slide the black round case clock gently or counterclockwise to orient it in the right direction. You will notice a small dent on the black round case. Remember that you must do all of this knowing that the clear plastic holder is on the right side and not upside down. After that, you'll want to put the black case back into the clear plastic holder where it was. This can be tricky as it doesn't go in the hole. Just twist it until it falls into the hole. Don't try to insert the pins first - you must first insert the round body into the hole and then rotate the body to insert the pins back into the clear plastic holder. Finally, turn on the light, but make sure your clear plastic holder is positioned correctly and isn't upside down. This will also determine whether your car's plug is on the right or left of the clear plastic bracket. Click on it as the pins should now slide straight into the two right hand holes and it should light up. Otherwise, you may have to close and reopen the door. I have with my car. I thought it was still wrong but closed the door and opened it and it lit up. All in all, it's an easy, one-minute install for some. Others require you to realign the pins or rotate the case 180 degrees. So 30 minutes of trial and error and then 30 minutes to figure it out, but it worked. I am very happy with them. I hope this company takes the time to write troubleshooting tips for their product.
