The case gets 4 stars and that's why I got this thing in the first place - just fits a 9x12 Notepad inside, some coloring books, some pencil sharpeners (yes I use 3-4 different types of sharpeners) and some slots for graphite pencils, white pencils and mixed pencils. The crayons themselves are of lower quality than Crayola - they don't blend at all, but the biggest problem is that the cores are broken in the wooden box and they don't center very well. They break and break and break again until you use up half a pencil on the first day of use. This was done with 5 colored pencils. The hardness of the core is similar to Irojiten pencils, but the quality doesn't even come close to that of Irojiten. The only good thing about the pencils was the wood itself - you can tell the quality of the wood is decent when you get smooth, long, unbroken curls when sharpened. Graphite pencils are good for beginners, but some of them are not good. actually work as they should. For example, 4H was lighter and harder than 5H - 5H more closely resembled 2H, and some Bs were indistinguishable from one another on paper. Pens don't bother me, I didn't expect anything for the price. ok and i never intended to use them as i already have a huge collection of pencils. All I needed was a suitcase. Mixed stumps are not very useful, since they don't seem to be that compressed. like other brands of mixed stumps. I like the small size of the sandpaper block; It takes up much less space than the regular size, which is good for traveling. The case gets 4 stars, the pens get 1 star. I think this is a good deal overall given the low price.
