Update:This adds a TON of noise, to the point where I've just unplugged it for good. I love the idea of this. Business opportunity for some manufacturer that can produce a working version of this. This ain't it unfortunately.Original review:My use case is I have a 2018 Macbook Pro, an Echo Input, and a Win10 gaming PC all going to one set of modest speakers. I thought I'd gotten a lemon at first, because if I had my laptop and PC plugged in at the same time, I got 50% white noise for those two, but perfect sound from the Echo Input. Even with the PC turned off! But if I unplugged PC or laptop, it worked great switching between a computer and the Echo. Perhaps the Macbook and PC are both introducing a little current to boost the signal? I don't know. Something better shielding could have resolved? Not my area of expertise. I also have a USB-C monitor I plug my Macbook into. I resolved the issue by routing the sound for my laptop through that instead, and it's flawless. The knobs feel sturdy, the volume is a nice addition to the Echo and monitor output. But it would be nice if it Just Worked for >1 computer.
