Based on our own experience this whistle is an excellent tool for teaching basic obedience commands to our dog. The ultrasonic sound is audible to the dog but not to us, making it easy to reinforce positive behaviors without relying on treats. The whistle itself is well-constructed and easy to use .The only downside is that it may not work well for dogs who are hard of hearing or have hearing problems. Overall, this is a great addition to our pet supplies and we highly recommend it for dog training and behavior aids..
