This is an amazing device. I never knew they had something that could do what I needed so effortlessly and cleanly. This allowed me to mirror my fios tv box that is in my bedroom to my living room. All you do is plug and play. There is no set up, no wifi to connect, nothing. You just plug it in, connect your hdmi cable from your cable box to the input, then the output to your tv on the transmitter box. On the receiver box, you just connect the hdmi to the tv, and you instantly have a second cable box without having to pay a monthly fee!The connection is pretty stable, and I didn't notice any lag or skipping. The image quality is pretty good too, and it display it in 1080p. I was surprised it didn't need any type of wifi connection. It just works by plugging it in. I have my fios tv box in my bedroom in the 2nd floor, and the living room is downstairs. I would say it is over 100 feet away and still works like a charm.It also has an IR repeater so you can use your remote in a different room. I didn't find that to work too well, and was jumpy. However with fios tv, I can use the app to change the channel easily. It basically allows me to have a second rent free cable box in another room. When I am not in my bedroom, I couldn't watch live TV before. Now I can watch it basically anywhere in the house. Whatever is playing in one room, will play on the second TV. It will only mirror what you are watching.I wish it came with some type of mounting hardware though. I currently have it sitting on my media stand. You can't really hide it or you risk blocking the signal. It feels well made, and works like a charm. I am extremely happy and surprised by how well and easy this is to use.If you want to mirror your device from one room in your house to another, this is the device for you.
