It's really plug and play. I took it out of the box, plugged it into a USB port on my computer and I could hear and be heard when Zoom was connected. Worked better than I expected. The headband is adjustable, so there are no problems landing. Comfortable for long wear. I used them for a 5 hour conference and had no problems with it. With just one earbud, it's hard to judge noise-cancelling ability. I can hear fully in the other ear. The manual controls on the wire work well. Easily adjust the volume, turn on/off the sound.
