This product will help with highlights but it's cheap and gross. I had to flare out a 1/4 inch waterline. The first thing to notice is that the "1/4" stamp is actually over the 5/16 hole. Sizes are stamped on the left. Look closely at the tool and you will see that the marks are misaligned. The second part is the rough finish. Tiny scratches remained on the copper tube after flaring. If tight, they leaked a little when the water was turned on. Nothing fancy but if you plan on using this on a brake or air line this will be a problem.
