Review on 2.2W Solar Bird Bath Fountain Pump With 4 Nozzles - Mademax Outdoor Garden Pond Pool Fish Tank Water Feature by Shane Ryder

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The best solar fountain I've found so far.

Ok, so I've bought 3 different ones, all from Walmart.1 Mademax $19. The best and worth the money; medium priced. While it doesn't have an adjustable power level like the OKMEE and they are both rated at 2.2W, Mademax pumps higher so there is a bit more water noise, which I like. and the Mademax comes with "standoffs" to keep it more or less centered.; that's nice as there's less water wasted to splash out when the pump is near the edge. It has the best selection of tips. The only one I'd buy again.2 OKMEE $22 The only unit with adjustable power levels, which I don't really use. It has the second highest lift. No tip is the only way I can run it because the other tips splash too much and waste precious water. . No stand offs. It's OK, but not worth the extra 3 bucks. 3 Blueberry $13 Cheapest here, but only 1.4W and so there's not much action. The filter isn't quite as big. If this had been my first purchase rather than the last I would have been discouraged and probably not bought any more thinking that they might all be junk. The first photo shows the Blueberry compared to the OKMEE. The second photo is of the Mademax. All in full afternoon sun.I just received the Blueberry, so I have no idea how long it might last: the other two I've only had a couple of weeks, so no telling their relative longevity either.

Pros
  • 6.3 x 6.22 x 1.81 inches
Cons
  • Inefficient Water Usage: The pump does not conserve water and may lead to unnecessary water wastage
