I bought this almost 2 months ago to solve the problem of all 3 of my cats concentrating their urine in the corner as the litter saturation makes cleaning difficult and a lot litter caused. to stay with my cats. It definitely helped with this problem, but created more problems than it solved. There is a fairly large gap between the inner rotating assembly and the outer shell which allows litter, urine and feces to pass through easily enough for my smallest cat to stand in the box and urinate through the gap into the front of the bowl that you have to lift the tray almost daily. This can easily be solved with a silicone strip that better takes up the space around the hole to prevent dirt from getting in. Poo easily sticks to the sides as they rotate, causing the poo to land on your cats. I clean the box daily and get on all fours every time I clean up the huge mess. But with all these issues I use less filler, about 1 28lb bags a month compared to 2 a week with my cheap handboxes. Even though the box doesn't make a mess, the litter my cats walk around in is dry and not saturated because it empties before they can combine and oversaturate the litter. So this helped my cats with the time consuming messy cleaning. If it cost around $200 I'd say it was worth it, but at $450 it's a trash can with serious flaws.
