You get what you pay for in 6 cups for a cheap saucepan. This is my 2nd Moka pot and it only makes 3 cups and there is still a fair amount of water in the water tank that could make a 4th cup but the grounds bowl stem is too short to reach it. I've also noticed that the water also comes out through the side steam valve regardless of the level. The handle is also weak and I worry about applying pressure when separating the top of the pot from the base. Overall, this is a good moka pot if you are inexperienced with it. It makes a fantastic 16 ounce iced coffee or 3 shot espresso.
