Defective after 3 months and I couldn't start my truck to get to work. Good thing my boss is a decent guy and I didn't get fired. The starter turned but did not engage the piston to push the gear into the flywheel. Sometimes it works after 5 or 6 tries, but I can't count on it. At least ACDelco guaranteed it, but I still had to spend time installing it and the inconvenience of not starting the car. Installing a new starter now in the middle of winter. Complete rubbish, you get what you pay for, save yourself the hassle and pay the extra money for a newer high torque starter.
