We're a Comcast customer and we're spending a heck of a lot on HDTV and other upgrades. But we ran into annoying issues: it would pixelate, stutter, or even freeze for a few seconds during our favorite shows. We'd have to end up watching regular non-HD channels (if possible). Unable to download movies on demand, they kept crashing or doing the same thing. And DVR-recorded shows did, and in some cases DVR recordings seemed to disappear (but we figured out how to make them "flash" by starting other recordings and then switching halfway). We had Comcast. went out a few times. They upgraded our cable, assured us the signal in the house was almost 100% and even checked the signal on the TV. They even installed an amplifier. I replaced them and replaced this one. WOW. Our signal looks even better and ALL THESE PROBLEMS ARE GONE! One caveat: I noticed that the Comcast guy used a booster and THEN split it into 3 wires AFTER the single boosted line! JERK! I bet if it was a 4 way splitter we would never have these problems. Anyway, this fixed the problem. If you have similar problems, get this booster. This works GREAT! FINALLY we get what we pay all this money for!
