As other reviewers have noted, this knife holder has a superb finish. I installed mine on a black subway tile so I ordered it in wenge and it's great. I didn't want to drill into the subway tile, so I installed a 20" rack of 16lb Gorilla tape, which worked great. As another reviewer pointed out, the frame features small magnets on the outside of the screw holes to ensure magnetism reaches the ends of the frame. This is a beautiful knife holder and also very practical. My kitchen is so tiny Getting rid of my old knife block has not only improved the aesthetic space but also freed up some valuable shelves. It's well worth the price and I highly recommend it.
