Bought to tighten the wheels on my RV as my regular torque wrench is only rated for 250 ft lbs and we do 500+ ft- pounds required. , the instrument worked as expected and a beep was heard (albeit a little quiet). The two things I didn't like about the tool are that they have an LED screen that reads information from the socket side rather than the ratchet side. You twist something, you're on the ratchet side, and it's not easy to read it upside down. You have to rotate the screen to the side of the ratchet as it would be easy to miss relying on the beep in a noisy environment. The second thing I didn't care is that they keep the batteries under the cover with 4 small screws is a total hassle to remove the batteries for storage. Let's face it, there's no need to overtighten too many things over 250 ft lbs, so removing the batteries is the real deal. d have an easy access door with a simple latch to remove and insert batteries. If they fix both of those problems, this would be the perfect "extra" torque wrench to add to any mechanic's toolbox.
