Indicates low battery The battery does not always work

Worked for a few minutes then showed low battery. If it shows low battery, you can't read the value, so it's useless. I tried several new batteries and it still showed a low battery. It was really accurate, but useless if I can't read them

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Torque range was listed incorrectly for size 1/2

A torque range of 147 to 750 ft-lbs is listed as being capable of handling. When the item arrived the package says it can only hold 30-150lbs! I needed it for 275 ft lbs. I noticed that the 1/2 range is 30-150 ft lbs. I needed a 3/4 that has a longer range.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Appearance

A good, very portable option for retightening a nut on the floor.

I read the negative reviews before attempting this tool. I found the sound it emits was heavy enough for my 50 year old ears and the display was big enough for those old eyes to read. I removed the lug nuts on my tractor with a breaker, made the necessary repairs, reinstalled the lug nuts and torqued them to 550 pounds using the same breaker and this adapter. It worked better than I hoped and I'm glad. I bought this tool.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Easy to use: Wrench

Very easy to use with case, batteries and instructions. I have a 3/4 version that ranges from 150-740 Ft-LB. Requires 2 double AA. The batteries that came with it aren't dead yet, and I've used it a few times, keeping a few backups just in case. I don't think battery life will be an issue, time will tell. However, you can't always see the display as it rotates as you turn the breaker or ratchet. It doesn't matter, because here you don't just see the lights. Even if you add in the cost of a pry…

3/4 " Drive Digital Torque Adapter

Bought to tighten the wheels on my RV as my regular torque wrench is only rated for 250 ft lbs and we do 500+ ft- pounds required. , the instrument worked as expected and a beep was heard (albeit a little quiet). The two things I didn't like about the tool are that they have an LED screen that reads information from the socket side rather than the ratchet side. You twist something, you're on the ratchet side, and it's not easy to read it upside down. You have to rotate the screen to the side of

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Tape

I'm glad I bought it best in wrenches

I bought it for changing tires in three of our family cars. I don't know how accurate it is because I have no way to calibrate or test it. However, I trust it enough to calibrate my torque wrench. After about 10 years my torque wrench was off by about 5 ft-lbs consistent with this so I adjusted it accordingly. Now I use the Neiko Digital Torque Adapter and my adjustable wrench together and they are very close together; within 2-3 ftlbs. I like the Ptop setting as it provides the most torque…

Cons
  • cord is shorter than others

Good replacement for real torque wrench

After finding the 600# torque wrench sticker, I decided to give it a try. A good choice for those who just need a torque wrench that rarely hits the high end. I needed this to tighten some U-bolts on an RV that needed to be up to 180 ftlbs. Next use would be a gear nut on a Dana 80 that requires 600 lbs. I've looked at some standard torque wrenches in the 300-pound range, but they all only had a 24-inch handle. Kick 150 pounds. It's tough enough with a 24" wrench. Dial 300 would be fun if not…

Cons
  • Requires socket

Works as it's supposed to - 3/4 " model

I'm tired of borrowing a large torque wrench from friends and didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I don't use often. This works for what I need. Remember this is NOT a substitute for a good torque wrench as there are things that many torque wrenches are better at, for example a cam wrench will prevent over tightening, this allows you to easily pull and put down if you're not careful or if the device doesn't warn you. However, it can serve as a good torque wrench if you use it…
