I have an aluminum road bike with a 1" flat bar. I've fitted it with aftermarket aero bars so there isn't much room to install a GPS mount, or at least when I mount something the display is not visible in the riding position.However this Garmin mount fits.Unfortunately the polymer/rubber mounting hardware doesn't adhere well to the handlebars and you have to pull on the zip ties to get a tight fit ". Still it can rotate with vibration and some force. But this makes it easy to mount any gps sports watch on the bike. I also have a Motorola Motoactv that goes with this watch band mounting kit! What I would change about this design is to make it thinner and slimmer.My Forerunner 305 is not a thin watch, it has a strange shape and takes up little space, and this watch isn't the thinnest either.Total amt: 5/5 stars, great value and easy way to mount any gps watch. to your bike, not just your Garmin Forerunner.
