Installs and works like clockwork. It's actually a plastic steering column bearing. I blame GM for not really sealing the bearing. This bar was easy to remove but a bit difficult to reattach from the inside. I installed both items myself and after a month I was VERY HAPPY. No noise, no rattling, the steering wheel has become much better. I highly recommend buying the Dorman 905-512 with it. You don't need the steering column pin either. Simply use the seat belt to lock the steering wheel in a straight position. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
