Review on Refillable Turkish Pepper Mill With 4.2 Inch Manual Crank Handle - Antique Gold Spice Grinder By Bazaar Anatolia by Bronson Hussain

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice look good grind but fairly small

This pepper grind is of medium quality. It has cast aluminum parts for a nice grind and no broken teeth.During grinding the unit's refill slide/door opens allowing peppercorns to fly our when it's getting low, the handle/coarseness nuts need to be cinched down HARD with tools to keep them from rattling free. And this is the worst part: it's really small. I'm am slightly above average in size and my hand engulfs the whole unit up to the handle. Which can be a good thing because the bottom cup can come off while grinding, but for people with gripping issues this might be too small. Plus the size means I'm refilling it more often that I would like, 4-5 uses per fill. The grind is very consistent though, so the other issues are more inconvenient than anything else. I've been using it now for a few months and it still works the same as when I got it.There are plenty of other pepper mills out there, but for the price this one is good.

Pros
  • Perfect for grinding fresh spices for meals, enhancing flavor and aroma
Cons
  • The product may require frequent cleaning of the burr mechanism
