Review on 🔌 CHANCS TYC40 Small Synchronous Motor 12V 5RPM AC Shaft 35mm for Fiber Optic Christmas Ornaments - Pack of 2 by Mike Morris

When I first plugged it in the motors just shook until I turned the shaft and then it started spinning while it was off. As soon as I turned it back on it just shook again until I pressed it. It's as if the motor didn't know whether to move clockwise or counterclockwise and was stuck until pushed one way or the other. BUT: After running for a long time (maybe 6 or 7 times for a few minutes each) both engines now start immediately, run smooth and are very quiet!. I'm glad I didn't send them back. A good buy and works great after a little break-in period (maybe because it hasn't been used for so long?). I am happy with these engines.
