The board was easy to install and fits perfectly in the case but the documentation is hard to access as searching for this device on trendnet will take you to version 1.0. the device is version 2.0 and there is an important difference in terms of Linux support: version 1.0 has very limited Linux/Unix-based support, but version 2.0 has Linux support, although it runs on other Unix-based operating systems like BSD is still restricted. The card uses an Aquantia AQtion 10gig interface controller. So if you are smart enough, you can build the module yourself and use it yourself. The module is currently under development, although at the time of this review it is in beta testing on Freshports.
