I wanted to use this to embroider a small design on black cotton fabric. I'm a beginner so wasn't sure what to use to transfer my drawing and followed a link to this product from a blog/tutorial. However, the small frame is very difficult to insert properly and since it requires more pressure to perforate the fabric and paper, my hands tire much more quickly. Of course when I got this I realized that it wouldn't work for my project as it would be impossible to hide it in my stitches on the right side. Ah, my bad rating is not due to my own ignorance and error, it is due to the lack of instructions or reference included in the packaging. You have to know how to use it before you buy it, which is absurd.
