Height function appeared, dog-on-point function and transition functions did not work properly

crashed. I bought an Alpha a few months ago. I use it for mountain deer hunting with my English pointer. Early on, elevation measurements for my own hike were inaccurate, overestimating the number of climbs I'd climbed in a typical day by 1-2,000 feet. Otherwise the system worked well, tracked the dog well and the shock function was adequate although not as powerful as my Dogtra device and at times my pointer ignored it even on the highest setting. For this reason and also because of the noise of the tracking device on the Dogtra collar, I use both collars. For the last 2 weeks the "Dog On Site" feature has only started to alert me when the dog first walked on the spot, but then stopped showing that the dog was on site. even if it was to the point. This caused some confusion as I didn't know if my dog, being out of my line of sight, was in place or not. Then the GO TO function failed and didn't lead me back to my truck. It got stuck in zoom out mode and overlaid me on the truck on the map and I couldn't zoom in at all to see me and my truck on the map so I couldn't zoom to my truck. Fortunately, I found my way back using memories and landmarks. At this point, with so many features not working properly, I decided to return it to Revain after 3 months of use. This went beyond the two-month return policy, but Revain honored the refund minus a restocking fee of around $150. I liked the device so much that I bought it back hoping the replacement would work better. I will update after receiving and using it.
