Includes preloaded TOPO U.S. 100K mapping for terrain contours, topo elevations, summits, parks, coastlines, rivers, lakes and more. Supports optional map data - TOPO U.S. 24K, BirdsEye Satellite Imagery, autorouting with City Navigator, and Garmin Custom Maps. Built-in 3-axis electronic compass and barometric altimeter.

Dog Tracking Collar

I was wondering how well this would work. I'm a licensed tracker in New York State. I love letting my dog run free. I really couldn't. Now that I have it he can walk and I know where he is and I don't have to worry about him. He knows when to return after hearing the sound. That works great. money well spent.

Expensive but worth it!

Great machine! Sometimes it takes me a while to get the position right and the collar training settings don't always work on my dog, it could be user error if I didn't fasten his collar tightly enough, but great, it's a great product! use it almost daily. We live on an acre in a dense forest, nobody has fences, so the dogs roam around a bit. I don't mind if he answers when I call, which he doesn't always do. This collar gives me peace of mind knowing where he's roaming and puts me in controlโ€ฆ

Height function appeared, dog-on-point function and transition functions did not work properly

crashed. I bought an Alpha a few months ago. I use it for mountain deer hunting with my English pointer. Early on, elevation measurements for my own hike were inaccurate, overestimating the number of climbs I'd climbed in a typical day by 1-2,000 feet. Otherwise the system worked well, tracked the dog well and the shock function was adequate although not as powerful as my Dogtra device and at times my pointer ignored it even on the highest setting. For this reason and also because of the noiseโ€ฆ
