Update: I'm having problems with this system. First, if I leave it on all the time, my F150 will give a false "Tire Pressure System Error". So I only turn it on when I need it (a pain in .). If I forget to turn it off, my F150 will soon remind me. Second, the image freezes in just a few seconds during the backup. Basically, I have about 5 seconds of use. So I think I'll look for a wired system to replace it. Recently, the backup display on my Pioneer deck became blurry and unusable. My son, who was installing a mobile sound system, ran all the camera wiring to the deck. Since it no longer does this and is often missing due to its job, I needed something to replace it that I could easily install without crawling under my 2010 F-150 much. After looking at what was available and reviews of various devices, I settled on this wireless device from DoHonest. The first thing that struck me when it arrived was the quality of the packaging. Everything fits snugly and tightly in the box, unlike some that just throw loose in an oversized box. Following the instructions, the first tests were easily performed by connecting the entire house to a 12V DC power source. I removed the tail light housing this morning to see which color wires are connected to the reverse light and was pleasantly surprised to find that my son was hooked up to the reverse circuit here. I cut this wire from the old camera and used it to run the new camera's red and black wires to the housing. I connected the red wire with the supplied coupler. I put a connector on the black wire and attached it to the tail light's metal frame. I plugged the monitor into the 12vdc socket on the dash, turned it on, started the truck, put it in reverse and got a nice clear picture from the camera. After cleaning the system, I checked again and everything works perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Great device and easy installation. Even for a 73-year-old. I definitely recommend this wireless digital backup camera and monitor from DoHonest.
