I've used them on the beach, in dry areas, in the mud, on concrete and even as work shoes. Still the same pair! Bought them as a spare about 3 years ago after hearing A Tribe Called Quest haha. These shoes have outlasted many others. I love the simple style and how they form on your feet over time, slowly fading and providing just enough support. These shoes do not claim to be superior, nor do they claim to be associated with a specific hobby such as skating or hiking. I've done a lot with these shoes and can attest to their durability (at least the Canvas/Leather All Coast versions). Only the back is leather, which really helps keep the shoe from bending when you put it on. The soles aren't even worn yet and the only reason I haven't bought another pair is because I can't find the same ones for the same price I bought them on Amazon ($55). Please make more of these New Balance 210 All Coasts! And don't tell me Vans is charging $90 for a copycat shoe that only lasts 3 months. These shoes really made me a fan of New Balance although I continue to use many brands because it seems shoe designers these days are very confused about how shoes should look like.
