👟 New Balance Coasts Violet Sneaker Review

At $20 I can't recommend more. I stole these sneakers. The color is a little more purple than pink, but still stands out. They have the perfect memory foam sole. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly. I wear them mostly as after golf shoes. They are very comfortable after I take off my golf shoes and put them on for the 19th hole. I recommend spraying them before putting them on as they show signs of wear.

It has a classic look and the design seems solid. However, in my opinion, these shoes are not suitable for skating. You can fit a pair of good insoles (for $30 more), but the midsole and outsole are very thin (less than 1/4 inch), which takes the "low profile" to a painful extreme. Also, the inner toe is too curved for my feet (and many others I think); I've never had a pair of NBs that were like this - not too small, just not well shaped. I'll try to go back because it shouldn't be that bad.

I thought long and hard about what gear to wear. These shoes are not made in the USA, they are made in Indonesia. I like my new shoes. I am a 52 year old woman with arthritis in my legs along with peripheral arterial disease. These shoes are so comfortable. The next day I spent about 10 hours in them. My legs didn't even start hurting until the end of that time. If you don't know about arthritis in your feet, well, it hurts a lot. The fit is great. I like New Balance as they make shoes for my thick feet. My actual size is $10.5 2E or 4E if I can find it. Most of the time I have to go to an 11 to get a little more width at the toe, but often short tongue shoes still don't open wide enough for my high instep/fat foot. These shoes have a very long tongue, which allows you to significantly increase the width of the shoe.
